The U.S. Embassy and the National Learning Institute (INA) signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate training in English teaching for the institute’s professors.
Both organizations will develop bilateral programs, use of technology, pedagogic materials, exchange of experts and researchers, workshops, and pronunciation practice with English native speakers.
U.S. Ambassador Sharon Day stated that this agreement represents a new chapter in the partnership with INA to improve English teaching and to better prepare students for the workforce.
The agreement promotes cooperation to foster English teaching and learning in Costa Rica.
