The group of volunteers, with their varied academic background, will work for two years in the Community Economic Development program, which aims to increase Costa Ricans’ quality of life, especially women and young people, so that they can improve their skills and find better job opportunities.

This group of volunteers will join the more than 100 Peace Corps volunteers who are already working in the country in either the Community Economic Development program, the Teaching English as Foreign Language program or the Youth Development program.
