CRUSA Foundation announced the names of the six Costa Rican students that will study two years at U.S. Community Colleges on a full scholarship.
The grantees are:
- Alison Agüero Sánchez
- Raquel Angulo Morales
- Amanda McNeil Huertas
- Geovanny Romero Jiménez
- Diego Martínez Gutiérrez
- Brayner Jirón Arias.
Each of the grantees studies at either a professional technical high schools or public high schools that forms part of the International Baccalaureate program. They will all pursue careers in science, mathematics, engineering or technology, and they will return to Costa Rica prepared to contribute to Costa Rica’s workforce.
These scholarships are funded by CRUSA Foundation, and supported by the U.S. Embassy, the Costa Rican Coalition Initiatives for Development (CINDE), the Binational Center via the Office of EducationUSA, and United Airlines.
