(“interview waiver”). If you fall into one of the categories below, you may qualify to apply
through the Cargo Expreso Dropbox process.
Visa Renewal: B1, B2, B1/B2, C1, C1/D, I, O-1, or P-1
You may qualify to submit your renewal application for the same visa category
through the Cargo Expreso Dropbox if you meet the following qualifications:
- You can provide your previous, full-validity visa.
- The visa is currently valid or expired within the last 48 months.
- You are a citizen or legal resident of Costa Rica.

Applicants 13 Years and Under
You may qualify to submit your application through the Cargo Expreso Dropbox if you
meet the following qualifications:
- You are a citizen or legal resident of Costa Rica.
- Both parents have valid U.S. visas.
- For renewals: You can provide your previous, full-validity visa, and it is currently

Applicants 80 Years and Older
You may qualify to submit your application through the Cargo Expreso Dropbox if you
meet the following qualifications:
- You are a citizen or legal resident of Costa Rica.
- You have never been refused a U.S. visa (unless the refusal was subsequently
overturn). - For renewals: You can provide your previous, full-validity visa, and it is currently

First Time J, F, and M Visa Applicants
You may qualify to submit your application through the Cargo Expreso Dropbox if you
meet the following qualifications:
- You have/had a U.S. visa (any category) and you have never been refused a
visa (unless the refusal was subsequently overturn). - You are a citizen or legal resident of Costa Rica.
- Important: This option does not apply to J visas for Summer Work & Travel, Au

First Time H-2A and H-2B Applicants

meet the following qualifications:
- You have never been refused a U.S. visa (unless the refusal was subsequently
overturn). - You are a citizen or legal resident of Costa Rica, and you are physically present
