Students from San Carlos will represent Costa Rica in the Youth Ambassadors program!

Youth Ambassadors Program

A total of nine high school students and one English teacher will represent Costa Rica this year in the Youth Ambassadors program. The first group of six students will travel in January during three weeks to the United States, and will visit Washington D.C.; Marquette, Michigan and San Antonio, Texas. A second group will travel in May.

Participants study in different schools in San Carlos and are participants in the English Access program, sponsored by the United States Embassy.

Youth Ambassadors is a three-week cultural exchange program where they will engage in workshops on leadership, community service, environmental education, social entrepreneurship and multicultural understanding.
